UK Working was formed in response to wishes for a fast and safe means of processing work permit applications with considerable knowledge of the requirements of the UK immigration service. IT professionals, UK Lawyers and former government immigration staff have designed our procedures and processes. We are a small company offering a personal level of service. We understand the needs of our clients whether applying from within the UK or from abroad and we have tried to create a process and services that will satisfy those needs.

We endeavour to react appropriately and swiftly to any changes in legislation that will impact on our client's applications and apply these changes as quickly as possible to our computer systems to ensure minimal disruption where possible. We expect to experience further changes during the coming year as the Government implements their Managed Migration proposals across a wide range of applications.

Joanne Walker BA, LLM: although born in the UK, Joanne was raised and educated in New Zealand. After graduating from Massey University, Joanne was appointed as an in-house legal adviser to a large trade union dealing in industrial law cases. Joanne left New Zealand 20 years ago and worked primarily as an IT consultant in the insurance/finance industry before returning to Law. She completed her Masters (LLM) in 2005.
