This year, 2008, will see a complete change in the immigration routes offered to highly skilled applicants wanting to live and work in the UK. The UK Government have started to implement the planned changes to establish the new 5 Tier immigration system into the UK. The first of these changes became effective on 29 February 2008 and more information about this change can be found on our News page.
The second change became effective on 1 April 2008 when the HSMP applications from India were replaced with Tier 1 General applications. This means that any applications being considered by applicants currently living and working in India can only be submitted using the new Tier 1 General application form.
Our points calculator and evaluation process is available to all potential HSMP applicants applying from outside the United Kingdom. Unfortunately it is no longer relevant to any Tier 1 General applicants applying from India.
